My son sat down and the lady got to work. She was very nice, don't get me wrong. The way she went about cutting however left much to be desired. I've gone to several types of hair salons, from independent to cheaper salons. I was suspicious right away when she started cutting around the side and left chunks around saying she would get back to it. She then went on to trim the top, once again missing some pieces. I mentioned the sides, and she said that she would fix it. I stepped back to let her work watching with increasing anxiety but ignoring it. Luckily, my son doesn't really mind too much as long as it looks mildly acceptable. I however didn't like where it was going.
I made the mistake of being in a hurry and trying to get my son and my hair cut done the same day. The ladies there were very nice and worked me into their schedule. I waited until my appointment with them and went in. We only needed a trim to maintain our hairstyles, so I didn't think it would be a big deal.
Not going back. Ever.
I waited a few days, getting my hair fixed in the mean time because there was no way I was going out in public with that hair. Might as well wear a hat until it grew back and I could fix it better. When I got a hold of the manager, she told me they didn't do refunds but fix it in the salon. No way. Sorry. uh uh. Not going back to have things worse.
I knew right then that I wanted to get out of there and not have my hair done, but when my five year old son told me it was my turn. I couldn't let him be the only one to get a terrible hair cut like that. So I sat down and let the woman butcher my hair. She trimmed around ruining the hair style. She turned it from a girl short cut into a boy cut. Blocky and like I had a bubble on my head with a straight edge right above my eyebrows. I was shocked someone could ruin something so completely. I sucked it up. The woman seemed to realize what she had done as she offered to put product in my hair. I told her no thank you paid and left. When I called later, because I didn't have the heart to complain about it in front of my son and make him upset about his hair cut, I was told the manager wouldn't be in until Sunday.
hair cut do cost a lot. they try get me done as fast. they do a very good job on hair cut. it next best place see i can't get onto base no more.
I've gotten an excellent hair cut every time I've gone here.
She did go back to fix the sides once she had gone around. How she did it was take the trimmer (what we call a buzzer) and began to straight cut it. So it ended up a block around the ears. THis wouldn't have been that big of a deal had she not also cut off the side burn area as well so it went straight above the ears across. Not what I had asked for. It wasn't smoothed or anything. SHe had him get up barely brushing off the hair.
