My wife and I had a very good experience when we took our sick Rottweiler to Dr. Hiibel. She was professional, courteous and helpful. She took the time to explain everything as it happened and involve us in every phase of diagnoses and treatment. What surprised us most was the follow up call we received the next morning to see how our patient was responding. How refreshing to find someone who really cares about the animals she has been entrusted with. We have found a new veterinarian to care for our big dog when others would or could not. Thank you Dr. Hiibel.
On Saturday, when Luna was acting so crazy, I called Dr. Hiibel at Western Nevada Vet, 10 mins before they were supposed to close. Mind you they do not have emergency vet clinic hours. When they heard what she was doing and the breed they said we could come in, but they were behind so we may have to wait or to call Lahontan Valley vet and see if they could get us in faster. I didn't want to chance dealing with a certain Dr. at the other so we went to Dr. Hiibel and waited till she could see us. She stayed 2 hours late, assured us that with the symptoms we were right to bring her in. Never made to feel like we inconvenienced them since they had to stay after hours on a Saturday. We were also not charged extra or hurried out. Dr. Hiibel actually called us 3 hours after we left to check on Luna and again on Sunday. Most amazing veterinarian! I've delt with some other awesome vets, but never one that had called to check up after hours personally.
They are very kind! Super happy with the care they give highly recommended.
I was visiting from out of town and had a minor doggie emergency. They saw me right away, gave me what I needed to keep my pup comfortable until we could get to our home vet, and all for a very, very reasonable price. Very happy with their service.
