Room was clean and the bed was fine, however, the toilet did not flush properly and the bathroom fan did not work.
Reasonably priced. Could use minor updates in the rooms and outside could use an update as well. Good location close to the center of the town. Free WiFi, very small breakfast, and the hotel has a pool too.
THEN I discovered that my door DIDN'T "LATCH or LOCK" I literally had to SLAM MY DOOR! The "Owners" East Indians I met when I went to the office to request a packet of coffee. The "Owner" stated No... There is a charge for extra. WHAT ... really?
Upon checkin I was a bit nervous because I reserved my room over the phone. I arrived to pretty much a slum (seriously) I however had dealt with a WONDERFUL couple on the phone and at check-in. To discover they were standing in for the "owners" I started off to my room and saw several people outside in various areas was on the telephone clearly making a drug deal not caring if I heard every word of this conversation OK I'm a bit nervous right next-door to my room was a guy standing in the door way and this went on until all hours of the night. I didn't realize that it seems they live here full time! This Econo Lodge is REALLY RUN DOWN! The rear parking lot where I was told I could park had several vehicles that had been there for quite some time, Kinda scary to find several broken down with flat tires hood to one vehicle was up and had been up detail for quite some time. Inside the carpets were filthy, Everything was patched or broken down. This is a real let down.. I just wanted a clean place to sleep overnight.
He is a real ass.. He was truly hateful over a coffee packet... Would NOT recommend this to even a rat!
The remote to the tv didn't even work! Sleepless and NO TV
This place may be old but it is extremely well taken care of. Everything is spic and span. The sheets are so soft and the bed is very comfortable. The staff is very accommodating. Would love to stay here again.
