I have stayed at this Motel 6 several times over the past 15 years and it was always only and clean enough. They have remodeled since my last stay so now have vinyl or laminate floors instead of carpet. I thought this was a good thing until I used a damp rg to clean up something off the floor and the rag came out black. The room smelled bad when we first opened the door and I couldn't figure out why as the room looked clean so I suspected the smell was coming from the dirty floor. Later that night aaas I stretched out between the sheets I felt something on my foot which turned out to be an egg shaped sponge which did not belong to me, and definitely not my husband. So apparently the sheets had not been changed. I am very disappointed and will be hesitant to stay there again.
I really like staying at this Motel 6 when traveling through. The owners are really nice and the property/rooms are always well kept. The only thing I miss is having a hair dryer, a small refrigerator, and a microwave. I understand that Motel 6 is supposed to be an "economy" motel, but the price is the same as other motels that offer these amenities, i.e. the Comfort Inn (Model T) in Winnemucca, Nevada.
Great location to stop on the long drive through miles of nothing. Cleaner than other Motel 6s stayed in on trip. Love locations that have small fridge and microwave. Room was spotless. Check-in with a reservation is a breeze. A/C is ice cold even on low. Bed a little too hard for weary driving back and tv very small.
We were very impressed and will return again. The room was huge and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the shower had excellent water pressure.
Very clean room and friendly tentative staff. The location is perfect for late night drives from S. 95 to Reno Nv, especially if you're ready to call it a day and kick back and get comfortable. Best Motel 6 I've been to and I have stayed across the nation.
